A "team decision-maker" said the Philadelphia Eagles' firing of defensive coordinator Juan Castillo was a "miscalculation," according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.

Sure is easy to say that now.

The Eagles have been porous defensively the last two weeks under promoted defensive backs coach Todd Bowles. The Atlanta Falcons scored on their first six possessions two weeks ago. The New Orleans Saints' offense put up 371 yards and 21 points during Monday night's win as the Eagles repeated failed to make plays.
