Texans Pro Bowl cornerback Johnathan Joseph left the overtime victory over Jacksonville in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury. Joseph, who is asked to cover the opponent's best receiver, will undergo an MRI on Monday.

With the short week before Thursday's game at Detroit, the secondary will be in trouble trying to cover Lions receiver Calvin Johnson. If Joseph can't play, Kareem Jackson or Alan Ball will have to cover Megatron.

Ball was a starter at Dallas in 2010, when Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips was head coach there.
