After Baltimore outlasted Pittsburgh 13-10 in a tough Sunday night game, Ravens running back Ray Rice added insult to injury by grabbing a loose Terrible Towel from the Heinz Field surface and wearing it on his head as he left the field, Chris Strauss of USA Today reports. It also didn't help that he was singing Styx's "Renegade," the team's unofficial rally song, while he did it.

The actions didn't go ignored by Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who took to Twitter to let Rice know that other opponents haven't fared well after messing with the towel.

"Bad idea ray just ask lendale white and tj whosyourmama," Bad idea ray just ask lendale white and tj whosyourmama," Woodley tweeted along with a photo of Rice wearing the towel.

I don't really see how he disrespected it...he was hiding his head under it. Not like he "stomped it." Lol...

    Hey whatever works...

i wouldn't care if he stomped on it, pissed on it, and then took a humongous crap on it in the middle of the field.

    it's a freaking towel .............. who cares?

To the Steelers and their fans its sacred and its a matter of, "how dare you put that on your head?"
As proud as the Steelers are, its even worse when the Ravens disrespect them like that.
Even still, it just makes Woodley look like a whiny little crybaby to post something on Twitter like that. He would have been much smarter to keep it behind closed doors, bring that picture up in the meeting the next time they play the Ravens and shove it down their throats the next time you play them. Beating them on the field and rubbing their faces in it beats whining and trash talking on Twitter any day.

The Steelers games to the Ravens are pretty much their Super Bowl every year...lol

well, yes, i understand many people take the sport pretty seriously (both players and fans) and i understand some of them would view the 'towel' as some religious-type object ..... i just have never viewed any sport like that. it's just entertainment to me so i can't wrap my head around a lot of the stuff that people say/do.

I get why he's upset. If some Bears or Vikings player put a on a cheesehead after beating the Packers Id not be happy about it and as a Wisconsin fan, if youre the visiting team or a fan of the visiting team and you try to partcipate in, "jump around", I dont feel bad for you if you get verbally abused or have something thrown at you. Its the same thing with the, "Leambeu Leap". I can recall some instances where players from the visiting team tried to do the leap after scoring a touchdown and either the fans would block them from doing so or they would throw the player back. Same thing with Rodgers', "championship belt". I absolutely hate it when the other team makes a play and one of their players does the belt. Those are our things, you dont get to do them.
Was Rice trying to rub it in on the Steelers? Duh. So what? Like I said, if you dont like it, go out and beat the Ravens next time.

I love these games. Usually they are played like old school football games. Lots of big hits and genuine dislike for each other. I don't like the AFC much but this game is one that I watch.
