Isn't Payton going through a divorce, and his family lives in Dallas? That combined with Dallas likely to be the highest bidder & his history coaching in Dallas make me think this is going to happen.

There isn't a single part of me that thinks there is any chance that Payton is anywhere but new orleans next year. If he does go to Dallas I'll be beyond shocked, and look pretty dumb.

The problem is the organization. It's fractured. Who is really running the show. A lot of people think the problem is that the.organization is centralized with one man (Jones) calling the shots.

The real problem is that its NOT centralized. You have too many hands in the pot, between Stephan, Jerry, Garrett, and Ciakowski. There is no clear direction

You have too many people wearing more than one hat. Jerry is the GM AND the owner. Jason Garrett is both the head coach AND the offensive coordinator. If you had a club with one person that had only one job, it would be better, IMO.

Agreed 100%. I think a HC can thrive being hands on in personnel decisions if he had high quality coordinators on both sides of the ball. However Garrett is our OC, so he has a team to run, an offensive gameplan to devise and players he needs to scout

    Too much
