Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will miss Sunday's game against the New York Giants because of his hamstring injury, the team confirmed Friday. Matthews, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, missed last week's win over the Detroit Lions and didn't practice Friday. Packers coach Mike McCarthy listed Matthews as doubtful earlier this week. The Packers would love to have Matthews available against the Giants, but they'll have to wait at least another week before he returns to the gridiron. Matthews has dealt with off-and-on hamstring problems for years, but the Packers are eager to get him back on the field. Source: NFL.com
