Colin Kaepernick's second career start will come in the Superdome Sunday, all he has to do is out-gun Drew Brees to get a victory. NFL.com's Albert Breer confirms that Kaepernick will start for the San Francisco 49ers against the New Orleans Saints, per a source with knowledge of the situation. 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh remained mum all week on who will start after Kaepernick's breakout game on Monday Night Football, but all signs have pointed to Kaepernick throughout. Safety Donte Whitner said Kaepernick will start. They can always go back to Smith before the playoffs and two solid options at quarterback is the good type of problem the 49ers haven't had in a long, long time. That's what niner fans are hoping. He did very well against an excellent bears d, so that means he should chew up a weak Saints d right?!?! I wish football worked that way. Superdome is a tough place to play.
