Jerry Jones has said that he has no interest in relinquishing his duties as the man in charge of the Dallas Cowboys. So a Georgia man decided to see if the President of the United States could do something about it, the Dallas Morning News reports.

In the petitions section of the White House website, one was created for President Barack Obama to have Jones removed from his control of the Cowboys.

It reads: “We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch’s immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress.â€￾

As of this post’s publishing, the petition was nearing 100 of the required 25,000 signatures needed to take it seriously.

i'm going to start a petition that says the government should control which teams the players will play with because some of the teams seem to have too many good players and its not fair to the fans of the crappy teams that they don't have as many good players. We need to have a system in place so some of the teams don't get too many of the good players and win all the time when some of the teams don't have as many good players and lose all the time.

This is just as stupid as the petition here in Columbus for the president to force the NCAA to let the Buckeyes play for the BCS championship.
Grow up people, the president has more important issues to deal with than you stupid little team.

I heard this morning on a local sports radio station (The Ticket) that the petition was removed yesterday afternoon because it didn't meet "terms of participation." Whatever that means. I think it had about 4,000 signatures on it.

    1. A Redskins fan probably pulled it down.

    2. Obama wouldn't do anything about it. He's a Bears fan.
