After the Giants game, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy preached accountability and admitted that he didn't do a good job on Sunday night. "I haven't felt like this since the first game I coached as a Green Bay Packer head coach. So, beaten very thoroughly tonight. Doesn't taste good, doesn't feel good. Most important things I stress are responsibility and accountability ... Once again, my focus is on responsibility and accountability, to make sure we go out and perform the way we're supposed to. We have too many good people, too many talented people, too much in our locker room to perform like that. I did a poor job tonight." Source: SBNation.com
I respect him for that. Its the coach's job to prepare the team and clearly the Packers werent prepared. They had no answer for the Giants' pass rush and kept trying to go to Cobb even though he wasnt open. I still wonder why they dont try to feature James Jones much. He's a big time player but doesnt seem to get the chances that Cobb and Nelson get.
