Aggressive on the field, Lions' defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is accused of also being aggressive on the road. Taryn Asher of Fox 2 Detroit reports Suh was ticketed in Lathrup Village on November 15 for failure to use due care and caution. Sources said the officer spotted a black Land Rover driving north on Southfield Road at a high rate of speed passing several cars on the right, just as the lane was about to end near Eleven Mile, the driver cut over barely missing the car behind him. The officer cited Suh, but nearly two weeks later his case still hasn't made its way to court. "The charges that were issued on the ticket, we're looking to make sure the charges fit," said Lathrup Village Police Chief William Armstrong. The officer thought they did, but the chief is not so sure, he's reviewing the dash cam video and claimed the officer that pulled Suh over can be aggressive when it comes to writing tickets. "Quite frankly, the way that the ticket was written I don't necessarily agree with, but if the city attorney agrees, it would go forward as it's written." Source: The Redzone
at a certain point, everyone will be on the same bandwagon many of us have been driving with this guy since his rookie year ............. he is an ego-maniacal, self-centered, above-the-law douchebag and guys like that don't improve their game on the field because they think just their god-given physical abilities are enough. Dude is never going to live up to his potential on the field and will flame out sooner rather than later .............. i.e. the next Albert Haynesworth
Like I said...the conversation of worth is eventually going to happen...sounds like sooner than later at this point...
well, i think at this point his play is still worth putting up with his boneheaded things on and off the field so i'm not sure if anything will or should happen with him in the near future. the problem with this guy will actually take place down the road as his production on the field deteriorates as he gets older and his contract comes up. He is under contract for 2013 and 2014 at about $11 mill/year. I think his production will keep him in a Lions uniform for a couple of more years but then after 2014, he will bolt because some stupid team will give him $100 mill + with a ton of guaranteed money and that's when he will be done. At that point, he will be getting close to 30 years old, his physical skills will be deteriorating, and his lack of commitment to his craft will not allow him to sustain a high level of play in his later years. It may just be an Albert Haynesworth 2.0 situation so the Lions may still get a couple of good years out of him.
They're gonna have to take this guy's license away a some point, crap is ridiculous. And I agree with just about everything the Captain has to say here
The Fords should start asking Jerruh for pointers about how to deal with problem young guys. Imagine Suh with a chaperone.
my 2 cents..... 1) i'm not sure you know anyone THIS bad, who gets in this many wrecks, cuts people off, road rages and drives ridiculously fast (over 100 mph) all the time. 2) if you DO know people that drive like that all the time, then I will call them ego-maniacal, self-centered, above-the-law douchebags too........... It shows an incredible flaw in the person. They're not just endangering themselves, they're endangering everyone around them. Mothers, Wives, children, senior citizens .............. yep, it's a big deal.
IMO, if you make all that money and dont hire a driver, youre just stupid. Why put yourself at that risk and go through that headache when you can just hire someone to drive you whereever you want to go?
