Mark Sanchez is trying to move past what has become the laughing-stock highlight for the rest of the country. Sanchez, now infamously, ran into Brandon Moore’s butt and fumbled the ball on a broken play against the Patriots. “It’s embarrassing,†said Sanchez. “You screw up the play (and) I’m trying to do the right thing. It’s not like I’m trying to force something. I start to slide and I slide in the worst spot I possibly could: right into Brandon Moore.†Sanchez said he’s watched the lowlight with some of his teammates and said everyone has been nice to him about it. “Hopefully we’ll laugh about it later,†Sanchez said. The quarterback said he wasn’t hurt on the play. “I guess more stunned than anything,†said Sanchez. “Like a car accident. I was like woah – what just happened. And then the ball’s gone.
