Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain isn't getting released like he hoped, that would be a reward. Instead, the Raiders announced they have suspended the third-year pro two games for conduct detrimental to the team and the news was first reported by Fox Sports Insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer. Raiders players told Glazer that McClain was informed of the news Friday morning, the two-game suspension makes a lot of sense, McClain reportedly got into an argument with coach Dennis Allen before getting kicked out of practice Wednesday and the team told him to stay home on Thursday, and he complied. The player's union could find fault with the suspension and appeal, but no matter what happens off the field, it's hard to imagine McClain ever suiting up for the Raiders again. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 was a massive disappointment on the field -- one of the worst 4-3 middle linebackers in the league according to NFL Films' Greg Cosell. Source: NFL.com
somebody will take a chance and sign him to a 1 year minimum deal, and if he plays anywhere near the level he did in college,he'll get a long term deal. he was unbelievable at alabama!
If I was Mcclain I would get Dennis Allen on his knees, and point a gun near his head but not aimed directly at his head, but make it so he thinks it pointed at his head and pull the trigger. That will put freaking power hungry head coach in his place.
