TNAsylum: Rumor: What PPVs will TNA Be Scrapping?
They are getting rid of No surrender and Against All Odds in an attempt to have more build to Lockdown and Bound for Glory their 2 biggest PPVs they are also moving Lockdown to March and I believe that this is a move to have one of their biggest PPVs not running against Wrestlemania which is a very smart move on their part.

Remember when there used to be only 4 or 5 a year from the WWF? Now these PPV's are a dime a dozen.

They should have more time in between PPV's. It gives the writers more time to create a storyline people will care about. Why in the hell was the CM Punk vs Ryback match in a hell in a cell match? That should be used as a big blowoff for a feud, not a random match because you have to. Good move by TNA, the TV product right now is more important to them since they get more eyes on their product.

Exactly Mike. No need to burn through storylines and give more undercard guys time to develop. Once this main event has been done, you are going to need to give us some fresh faces in the main event. The same old same old just won't cut it for TNA.

ive always been a fan of 4 PPVs a year idea. let story lines build. gives you more time to do more things with mid carders.

but we all know in the end, the almightly dollar will win out

Well I dunno Mike. For one, TNA doesn't make crap on their PPV's. Their biggest PPV buyrate this year was 20,000 for Bound For Glory. The get more eyes on their TV show. So why not cater to that more? I think (hope) that's the way they go. Dixie Carter has been known to have wanted to drop some of the PPV's for some time now.

I wish....too bad their bad PPV buys would be something all the other companies would cream for.
