Troubled receiver Titus Young was inactive Sunday and he was told to stay away from Ford Field.

"He was told, by me, not to come to the stadium today," coach Jim Schwartz said.

When asked why, Schwartz said, "Because we are going to concentrate on the 46 players that were active and who we thought were the best for our team today."

Interestingly, every other inactive player was on the sidelines Sunday, including receiver Nate Burleson, who is still on crutches recovering from a broken leg.

"We're going to do what's best for the team and what's best for the team is to have a guy like Nate Burleson on the sideline," Schwartz said.

In other words, Schwartz didn't want Young to create a distraction.

He was asked if Young would ever play again this season.

"That's yet to be seen," Schwartz said.

i disagree. i think he will find work immediately. granted, he seems like a major douchebag but there are a ton of d-bags in this league that continue to find work when they have talent and titus obviously has lots of talent.

i think many teams probably feel more than capable of 'rehabilitating' someone like Young and will sign him.

i'm not saying they're smart for doing it, but they will..............

Somebody will give him another chance. The NFL gives second,3rd,4th or 5th chances depending on the talent level of the player.
