The Carolina Panthers are trying out former University of North Carolina cornerback Kendric Burney today, according to a league source. Burney was with the Panthers on their practice squad last year. He has a previous stint with the St. Louis Rams. Burney was a four-year starter at North Carolina, starting 44 games.
