The New England Patriots ran the ball on 13 out of 16 plays during a 7 minute drive in their win over the Dolphins last Sunday. The repetitive running plays bothered some Dolphins, Brian Biggane of the Palm Beach Post reports. “It was very disappointing,†linebacker Karlos Dansby said Thursday. “Instead of getting two yards they were getting four, and instead of us getting off the field they were getting first downs.†Dansby blamed the inability to force a fourth down on “technique errors.†“Like I might have been a half-step over from where I should have been,†he said. “As a result we weren’t executing. We were just a little out of place.†Six of the 13 runs were in exactly the same hole, over left guard. That didn’t sit well with reserve tackle Tony McDaniel, who was the only lineman to have a tackle in the series. “It really (ticked) me off,†he said. “It was disrespectful to us to run the same play over and over and be successful. “Normally when somebody’s driving down the field you just think, ‘Well, they just had a good run there,’ but you run the same play over and over, as a competitor that (ticks) me off.†“It is disrespectful,†tackle Randy Starks agreed, “but you’ve got to stop it. We never stopped it, so I’d keep running the same play, too.†Source: The Redzone
shut the heck up? if it works, use it. at what point will they remember they're grown butt men and not pop league players
Seriously? Complaining that the Patriots running the same play is disrespectful? :laughy32::laughy32::laughy32: Man up and stop it then. Freaking SNITCHES. Can't even believe this is a story.
This ridiculous, this mofo needs his filter to kick and so he doesn't sound like a dumbass Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
i'm picturing mcdaniel saying this with his fists clinched and his foot stomping the ground ........... “It really (ticked) me off. It was disrespectful to us to run the same play over and over and be successful."
If I'm Belichick, I run that play 3 times to open their next game. If they stop it, I punt. If not, I run it 3 more...
Yeah guys Biggane is reaching for this story, it's about the players being pissed about not being able to stop the run late.
Okay, I'm going to actually semi defend Dansby there. I think that this genius got his thoughts mixed up. The context of what he is saying is as a defense it's stupid when a team does the same thing with constant success and it ticks him off you can't stop it. Now, the other half of me calling him a freaking moron for not only saying it was "disrespectful" once, but saying it twice. I don't understand the NFL. Take your lumps, regroup and come back swinging. End of story. The Giants, the Dolphins. Freaking A. Stop being whiny butt snitches.
