Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson has 1,546 receiving yards through 13 games. That's about 118.9 yards per game. At that pace, he would finish the season with 1,903 yards. In 1995, former San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice accumulated 1,848 yards, a record that still stands to this day. It is also still very possible that Johnson eclipses 2,000 yards, something no receiver has really come close to doing in NFL history. Source: FFToolbox.com
A SUPER receiver, with a GREAT QB in that dome in that offense....sounds like a formula for breaking some records to me. Calvin deserves it, he is a great guy. Especially compared to some of the wrs today....like his ex team mate Young.
