Tim Tebow wants out in New York, according to a report from the New York Daily News. The Jets benched Mark Sanchez after his abysmal performance Monday night in Tennessee, but instead of Tebow, who played one series and a handful of other plays, Rex Ryan will go with third-stringer Greg McElroy. Tebow apparently will ask the Jets to release or trade him following the season if McElroy retains the starting job in the final two weeks. Tebow has been used rather sparingly as a gimmick player by the Jets, but has not really been given any shot at playing time as a regular quarterback. If Tebow is released, it will be interesting to see where he lands and with what role. Source: National Football Post
I mean he should right? He's the "#2 QB" with the Jets. He was brought in to be the back up to Mark Sanchez...he "should" be getting the start this week but the Jets are afraid he may succeed? Looking at it from Tebow's view, he should be asking for a trade. He was a playoff QB for a division champion and brought in to back up a starter. He should feel like he should be starting and want to be traded or released. Now...the big scheme??? Shouldn't be starting anywhere...
The jacksonville owner probably knows they are going to suck again next year and Tebow will put butts in the seats. Its a good business move for the Jags.
yep, the only place/position that makes sense for him is as the starter in jacksonville. being a back-up anywhere, especially in jacksonville, would just be a distraction................. so, his most likely place to be in 2013 is the starter in jacksonville. the 2nd most likely place is as the starter for the montreal alouettes.
