New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz has visited the home of the 6-year-old Connecticut shooting victim who was buried in a replica Cruz jersey. Jack Pinto was among 20 children shot to death Friday in Newtown. Several elementary school-age children played touch football in the front yard of his family's home Tuesday, many wore Giants jerseys or Newtown football or wrestling shirts as they laughed, smiled and hugged. The children and their families left after several hours, kids carried autographed Giants footballs and jerseys. About 45 minutes later, Cruz left the home in an SUV and an escort of five police cruisers, sirens blaring, he later tweeted that he has "much love to the entire Pinto family, great people with huge hearts." Love how Cruz is honoring this child and really making an effort to be consoling to his family. Wish more players would be proactive like this...
He wrote the kid's name on his shoes sunday. I would think some of the players from the jets, pats and giants would all have visited the town and the parents since they are close to it.
chris johnson wrote the names of all the kids who were killed on his shoes monday night.it would be if the players who wrote dedications on their unis last weekend auctioned the things off to go in a charity benefitting the kids and the teachers who were killed friday!
Players should be fined for the uniform alterations...right?!? lol. Go ahead Roger...free money. I dare ya and since it's that time of the year, I TRIPLE DOG DARE YA!!!
