Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr named the NFC Defensive player of week 15.

Carr received defensive honors after intercepting Ben Roethlisberger's pass on the second play of overtime in the Cowboys' 27-24 triumph over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The pick set up Dan Bailey's game-winning field goal. Carr also tallied four tackles and three passes defensed.

Letting Carr go may be one of Scott Pioli's biggest mistakes (and there's many) during his tenure.

I was skeptical at first when we signed him to that big contract. Carr has made a believer out of me. Not a Revis or anything, but he plays hard and makes plays. He has definitely been a huge upgrade.
