Steve12 The night is dark and full of terrors

After a great turnout in the Nomination threads, it's time to get the voting started! GIF has spoken, and the Nominees are set. Now is the time for everyone to make their case for the person they think should win each award. The voting threads will be left up for a week or so, so everyone has plenty of time to debate and vote. After the voting is done, we'll wait and see how close we are to the actual NFL winners.

So everyone have fun and vote!

Might sound dumb but ACL injuries are nowhere near devastating as they used to be. It's like Tommy John surgery. A pitcher used to be lucky to come back from that but now it's like any other surgery. A surgically repaired neck on the other hand. If he just had the surgery and was okay, sure. But Pey Pey has played on just as high a level as he did before the surgery(minus a little bit) but I think Pey Pey gets it.

this is going to be a close one. AP should get it because people just don't do what he has done. PM could get it for having 126 neck surgeries in a span on months. If AP breaks Eric twinkyerson's record he will get the award.

  12. could go either way, youtube AP's injury last December, that was nasty

When was the last time you guys have seen a runningback rush for as many yards as AD? When was the last time you saw someone destroy their ACL and rush for as many yards as AD? Yes Peyton Manning has been playing unreal this year after going to a new team and learning a new system incredibly fast and having a crapload of neck surgeries, but he's Peyton Manning, that is why they brought him in that is why he's getting paid close to 100 million dollars in the span of 3 years because he is supposed to do that. Plus he sat out all last year to recover from that injury AD tore his ACL at the end of last season and came back this season and is freaking destroying this year people who haven't torn their ACL's aren't rushing for that many yards.

Also in regards to ACL surgeries/injuries not being as devestating as they used to be. I tore my ACL and MCL in highschool and maybe my knee was just hecked up to begin with but I still can't run nearly as fast as I could back then, plus it more than just the physical aspect of returning it's the mental aspect of coming back, anyone else see how freaking horrible that injury looked writhing in pain. I'm gonna be honest I thought he was going to be a shadow of his former self after that one.
