well, this is just a repeat of the same wild card game last year. can't say this is the most exciting game. the bengals don't 'appear' to be a legit SB contender (although anything can happen) and the texans really looked bad in december. the texans would go to new england if they win and the bengals would make a mile high trip if they win.
sounds like you're predicting a lot of blowouts. i'm not sure what has happened to the texans defense but it has not been very good since that game at chicago. in addition, this will be schaub's first playoff game and he hasn't exactly set the world on fire whenever he's been on a big stage previously. houston is obviously the favorite here, i just wouldn't be surprised if it was within a touchdown either way.
Not really blowouts. I think the Texans win this. They should win easily. they are better than the Bengals in almost all aspects. packers win at home. The other two games are gonna be close IMO.
see, i guess this is where we disagree a bit. based upon how the texans have played the last several weeks and the fact that the bengals have a good o-line and good pass blocking schemes, i believe they can somewhat contain watt and the texans blitz and throw the ball around pretty well ok. dalton needs to play a good game though and not throw int's. on the flip side, the texans offense has not been sharp during the same timeframe. they're giving up a lot more sacks than they were earlier in the season and they're not protecting the ball. and the bengals defense is not too shabby and they will force mistakes if the texans are not sharp, especially if schaub isn't real sharp because of the big stage. if the texans play their best game, i agree they will win it and they'll probably win it with a lot of arian foster on the ground, ball control, and not making turnovers. This is the type of game i could see arian foster running for 250 and schaub throwing for 100 and the texans win.
I tend to agree on most of that...but I do think the Texans can straighten themselves out. I feel like they were coasting towards the end of the season...but losing 3 out of 4 is not the way you want to enter the playoffs. That recipe is usually an early exit. However, I think they'll get back to basics. I won't be surprised if they continue to lay an egg, but I think they get their act together here.
yep, if they can get back to the way they were playing early in the season, they will beat the bengals and they would also have a fair chance against new england

Bengals D is underrated and Texans D has been getting trashed. I think it comes down to mistakes, and Dalton with another year under his belt, and I'm saying Bengals.
i think we pretty much know what the bengals are going to give us. they are pretty consistent recently. this will depend on which texans team shows up. if the late-season texans shows up, we have a ballgame. if the texans can recapture their early season magic, they should win easily.
