INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (11-5) AT BALTIMORE RAVENS (10-6) When: 1 p.m. Sunday (CBS) [ame=http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-gameday/0ap2000000119810/Can-Luck-lead-Colts-to-a-playoff-victory]Can Andrew Luck lead Indianapolis Colts to a playoff victory? - NFL Videos[/ame]
this has some interesting story lines. will pagano have a big advantage since he's so familiar with the ravens? will the firing of cam cameron so late in the season turn out to be a plus or minus for the ravens in the playoffs? can the underdog colts win yet another game against a seemingly more talented opponent?
Are the Ravens really that much more talented? Definitely more experienced and I think that's gonna come in to play here.
well, i think you bring up a good point. most of us thought the colts were very untalented during their 2-14 season last year. we're now finding out that they just didn't give any effort and had plenty of talent all along. the fact that pagano knows the personnel on the ravens team almost as well as anyone should worry the ravens. vegas has the ravens as a touchdown favorite in this one. i'll take the colts plus the points.

Colts are on fire and who knows what Ravens team and Joe Flacco will show up this week. Will they put 40 points or 6 points??? I like the rookie and the Colts in this one.
People say there is nothing greater than experience, almost everyone on this Ravens team has been to the playoffs at least once and god **mn if Luck isn't playing his heart out in the shadow of one of the most decorated QB's in history. Has the Colts fan base forgotten about Peyton nah, will they soon, very possible with the way this kid has been playing. I gotta say judging by this year only, last year had the greatest class of QB's we've seen in a while.
So what's the confidence level on Flacco? He's the X-factor in this game. He stepped up in the playoffs last year and was a dropped pass away from playing in the Super Bowl. This year though he's been his usual up and down self. The Ravens will only go as far as Flacco takes them.
Both of these teams are different on the road and at home, and B-more is home. Not to mention the new announcement from Ray of his retirement, and that team is going to help him go out on top. At least for one week.
eh, home field advantage is a little overrated in the playoffs. i think this century, home teams only win at about a 60% clip in the playoffs, which is about what we would expect on a neutral field, since they are always the higher seed and so most of the time have the better record and therefore are usually the better team.
As weird and funny as it sounds, Lewis announcing his retirement might have done the Colts in this week...I think the Ravens may come out guns a blazin' on a do it for Ray-Ray Campaign...
