The 49ers on Tuesday waived outside linebacker Eric Bakhtiari to make room on their 53-man roster for the previously reported signing of veteran kicker Billy Cundiff, the team announced. Bakhtiari appeared in five games for the 49ers this season. Bakhtiari returned to the 49ers' 53-man roster after the club suspended running back Brandon Jacobs and placed defensive lineman/tight end Demarcus Dobbs on injured reserve. Bakhtiari was among the 49ers' seven inactive players for the team's regular-season finale Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Bakhtiari has been released 11 times by six NFL teams since coming to the NFL in 2008 after playing his college career at University of San Diego under coach Jim Harbaugh. Source: Comcast Sports
Last year he hecked the ravens by missing a chip shot,he missed 5 fgs so the skins released him,so if he hecks the 49ers over by missing,he'll have come full circle!
