Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have “legitimate interest†in Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly. Glazer adds that Kelly is currently out of the country, which is most likely the reason that they haven’t setup any meetings yet. Kelly is respected around the NFL for his CEO-style approach towards running his football program. The Fighting Irish had a miserable showing in the BCS title game, so there’s at least a chance that he would consider leaving South Bend for the NFL. He initially said that he intends to remain at Notre Dame last week. Source: NFL Trade Rumors
Screw that crap. If a Kelly was on the Eagles sideline I'd MUCH rather have Chip and I don't even want him. Brian had a MONTH to prepare for Alabama, knew what they'd do and couldn't do CRAP with it. Screw that chump.
the eagles seem to have a hard on to hire someone with absolutely no nfl experience as a player or coach ........... maybe i should touch up my resume
Apparently we are interviewing everyone and their freaking mother for this job... 'Targeting', whatever. Having a hard time believing this one.
If I was Lurie I'd ask to interview him just to ask how he hecked up after 44 days and knew that Bama was going to run the ball and that was basically it.
Coaches can only do so much in a game the rest is up to the players...so place a fair share of ND getting blown out on the players and them missing tackles.
But the formations weren't even to stuff the run. And they don't coach tackling at Notre Dame because those players were bouncing off of everything Bama like that's what they practiced. That's on coaches.

It's a money grab for Kelly. He wants Notre Dame to pay up. NO WAY Lurie is stupid enough to hire this dude.
Lurie has head up his butt the last few seasons,so who knows what he'll do? he should hire lovie smith as head coach, and try to get norv turner as OC ,they'd be better than anybody else out there if the grudens have told them no.
