A year after the New England Patriots took advantage of a dropped touchdown pass and a missed Baltimore field goal to advance to their fifth Super Bowl in 11 seasons, the Ravens earned a 28-13 victory on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. "It always comes to a screeching halt," Brady said. "There's only two teams that advance. Those two teams deserve it. We've lost before. It takes a while to get over. "You have the opportunity to win the game and we came up short. There's frustration in that we wish we could have done better. But they're not going to give it to you. We didn't earn it; they earned it. They played a good game." The Ravens and Patriots also met in the 2010 wild-card round, when Baltimore won, 33-14. The Patriots, who had the highest-scoring offense in the NFL this season, were held to a season-low point total in their finale - more than 20 below their average. Brady completed 29 of 54 passes for 320 yards and a touchdown, but was intercepted twice and had just a 62.3 passer rating. A key play came early in the final quarter with Baltimore leading, 21-13, when Bernard Pollard forced a Stevan Ridley fumble that the Ravens recovered. "That was the turning point of the football game there on the 40-yard line," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "It was a tremendous hit. It was football at its finest. It was Bernard Pollard making a great physical tackle, just as good a tackle as you're ever going to see in football right there. That probably turned the game around right there." they certainly did. the ravens were very workmanlike and just kept playing hard on both sides of the ball. they eventually wore down the pats either physically or mentally (or both) but by that 4th quarter, the pats didn't even look like they belonged on the same field with the ravens.
This is beautiful...... Pats losing... Now, if the Ravens can win the Super Bowl, everything will be OK
I think it's insane how there were two huddles after the Ridley hit: one to recover the football and the other to check on Ridley. Whatever the Patriots sucked donkey nuts yesterday and the Ravens made them their snitch...
yep, brady has never done anything to make the regular fan hate him ............ people are just jealous and sick of the pats
