Ravens SS Bernard Pollard Says Tom Brady's Slide Was 'Bull Crap'

Tom Brady's first-half slide that kicked Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed did not sit well with another of the Ravens defensive backs.

Safety Bernard Pollard, whose 2008 hit on Brady ended the Patriots QB's season with a knee injury, took issue with Brady's leg-in-the-air approach to his slide.

"You've got to keep them legs down," Pollard told CSNNE.com. "You've got to keep the legs down. We all know and understand what's going on there. And as a quarterback, when you go to slide, we're taught . . . we can't do anything. When you come sliding, and your leg is up in the air trying to kick somebody, that's bull crap."

Whether Brady had intent to kick Reed or was simply in an awkward way trying to protect himself is up for question, but it is clear which side Pollard is on in this debate.

You know just because its Brady the league will "review" that play, if it was anyone else it the fedEx envelope would have gone out already.
