Rob Ryan wrapped up his interview with the St. Louis Rams today but he left without receiving a contract offer. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported that Ryan’s meeting with the club is complete and now it remains to be seen if an offer comes. Ryan interviewed to become the defensive coordinator on Jeff Fisher’s staff. The position was essentially vacant last season after Gregg Williams was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for his role in the New Orleans Saints’ bounty scandal. There have not been any other prominent candidates for the position and most have figured for about a week that the job was going to Ryan. Source: National Football Post
i really don't think rob and fischer are on the same page philosophically ........... i was surprised when the rob to the rams rumors started ............ maybe fischer will hire him if he thinks he can teach him his way.
Rob Ryan doesn't exactly strike me as someone who is open to suggestions. Much less going by someone else's way.
