Marcus Lattimore is hoping to come back from his second serious knee injury better than ever. "I'm going to continue to go to work until I'm back at 100 percent and better than I was," the former South Carolina running back said at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., per Al.com. "That's my goal and it is realistic." Lattimore was in Mobile to meet with NFL teams. He said he is “way ahead of schedule†in his rehabilitation, though he can’t run yet. Lattimore even added that noted surgeon Dr. James Andrews called his progress “nothing short of a miracle.†"If you don't do your rehab, if you keep asking yourself, 'Why me?', your knee reacts to that," Lattimore told reporters, per Al.com. "You have to stay positive or you're not going to come back." Lattimore dislocated his right kneecap and tore several knee ligaments Oct. 27 against Tennessee. Source: Sporting News
Maybe crazy but I would take a gamble earlier than that. Before his knee issue he was the best RB in college bar none. I wouldn't mind if Atl took him in the 3rd.
