I'd be shocked if they didnt at this point. The Maloofs have shown no interest in working with people who'd keep the team in Sac, and before they were selling, they had been trying to relocate for years. Its a heckin shame too, Sacramento might be kind of a podunk city as far as NBA franchises are concerned but damn did they love their Kings. I believe Arco sold out every game from when they arrived from KC (85?) Until just a few years ago, and remember they were freaking TERRIBLE for the first decade and a half or so. When they finally got good though, my goodness. That podunk arena was INTENSE! It doesnt get any more fun at a game, than at Arco in the Williams/Christie/Webber/Divac/Peja days. I dont really care about basketball anymore, but I grew up watching the Kings in Arco, my uncle had season tix from day one, and Id get down there a good handful or two of times every season to go to games with him, from early grade school til I left for college. Great memories and it breaks my heart theyre leaving.
