The Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News is speculating that based on new head coach Chip Kelly's press conference Thursday, the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback for 2013 "is not likely on the current roster." Kelly was introduced and quickly expressed that nothing is on or off the table as far as personnel is concerned. Quarterback Michael Vick is owed $15.5 million in 2013. Thursday afternoon, Kelly told ESPN that he has not decided what to do with Vick by stating, "I don't have the answer. I know what a talent he is and have marveled of Michael since he was at Virginia Tech." Source: FFToolbox
Foles will be in the conversation, no question... Vick, highly doubtful. It seems like McLane is really off base as of late.
Foles is going to start. Kelly went out of his way to praise the kid and per ray didinger it would be easy for kelly to run a big portion of his offense in with foles. Kelly made it a point more then once to say he is not going to run his qb all day in games. To me thats where kelly will show his innovation.
Lol when it looked like he was going to Cleveland, nobody wanted to listen to my positive spin to the effect of, I'm sure he's smarter than to try and directly copy that Oregon offense to the NFL. I still think he can be successful as long as they don't put too much on his plate and give him strong coordinators. I think that's when a lot of first time NFL guys have problems.
I'd be shocked as well if Foles was not the starter next season. He'll probably run spread formations just have very little of the read action in.

Well come on, Dennis Dixon the scout team specialist STARTING over Nick Foles or any other available options? That's a pretty Flaccoish thing to say.
I just want the Super Bowl to be over and the off season to start so that we can go ahead and see some moves happen. Dixon might be added but he won't be a starter on this team. He knows the offense but that's about the end of it. DEFINITELY not ahead of Foles or Vick.
