The most-controversial quarterback in New York this season likely is done playing for the Jets. No, not Mark Sanchez. Instead, the Jets are reportedly still intent on getting something for Tim Tebow. The team will not immediately release Tebow once the new league year begins because it still wants to trade away its star punt protector, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Jets would like to get a mid- to late-round draft pick for Tebow, Schefter writes, though that seems to be a tough sell. Source: CBS Sports
Haha. Bet the Raiders wanted a mid-late round pick for JaMarcus Russell too. The Chiefs would probably take one for Cassel. I'd take a late round pick for any of the QB's that set our franchise back a few years.
