After losing the Super Bowl last Sunday, San Francisco 49ers defensive back believes his team has what it takes to win the NFL's prestigious championship next season. Winning a Super Bowl would be a natural next step for the 49ers. They made the NFC Championship two seasons ago before reaching the title game this year. "We take steps every year," Whitner said, via CSNBayArea.com. "Last year we made it to the NFC Championship Game with no expectations. This year we made it to the Super Bowl and 5 yards from the championship. Next year we gonna win this thing. Nobody cares about second place." Source: Scout.com
OMG stop it already...you don't even know who is going to be with the team in 2013 and you're already calling a win for SB 48?
nice job the teams that make predictions like this almost never come true because of it. Good job jynxing the 9ers lol.
He may be true but after the way we attacked him in the Super Bowl im predicting he's not a 49er when they kick the ball off next season
Culliver and Whitner had a rough game, were pretty good all year. I don't think either will be off for that game, though I see more depth in the backfield. I think our passrush is what really failed in the playoff stretch.
