Many Cardinals fans disagree, but the team’s new power brokers don’t think their offensive line is broken, Ken Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

Coach Bruce Arians has said several times there is talent with which to work. Offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin has echoed that.

“I think there is talent there, especially once you get Levi (Brown) back,†Arians said this week at the NFL scouting combine. “Once you get Levi back, the whole thing looks prettier.

“We had some young guys get baptized last year, who got better and better as the season went on. It’s not as near the dire straits everyone wants to make it out to be.â€

Arians seemed sincere, but passing on an offensive lineman with the seventh overall pick would be a difficult decision. By most accounts, this draft has several immensely talented offensive linemen, guys who won’t be there in the second round.

Yeah...what do us Cards fans who consistently watch the O-Line finish in the bottom five of nearly every stat know? Let's use our # 7 in the draft and get another QB who doesn't mind being injured half the season from the mauling or a RB to average 2.1 yards/carry.

Levi Brown was misused from the day he was drafted by the organization, but if Arians sees this lead footed waste of meat as the savior, God help us.

Bruce Arians doesn't need an OLine when he has Ben Roethlisberger back there...uh...wait...

If they get Fisher or Johnson and move Brown to the right side, it would be better than having him on the blindside.

well, thus far, the comments arians has been making about their qb and o-line situations are rather disturbing.

anyone with half a brain can see the cards need to add a LOT of talent along their line. they should use their #1 pick on a lineman and also pick one up in free agency (albert, levitre, etc.)

unfortunately for the cardinals, they aren't in great cap shape so they may need to do all of their additions in the draft.

Exactly how the Cards have misused him since day one. Fischer is No.1 on my list but seeing as how both Joeckel and Fisher will probably be gone, Johnson it is.

Bingo. $1 million over. Apparently the reason why Arians is trying to turn crap into chicken salad in the media. One other factor that could bode well in the Cards favor is that Russ Grimm is gone. Some of the existing players might be coached up with him gone. Hey, I'm tryin'.
