Entering the offseason, it appeared that the Bengals would choose to franchise-tag either defensive end Michael Johnson or right tackle Andre Smith. Cincinnati has gone with the former, and that means the latter is now set to enter free agency. And he wants to get paid a hefty wage. According to Pro Football Talk, Smith wants to sign a contract worth $9 million a season. The reason that Smith is available to get a new deal is because the Bengals decided in 2011 that they wouldn't pick up the final two option years of Smith's rookie contract. Source: CBS Sports
you are so stupid. you are not worth that much. isn't he the guy who ran with his shirt off and his C cup tits were motorboating themselves?
Not worth 9 million a year. to men he is not worth more than maybe 4-5 a year and that is only because of the money that position is worth.
true, RT's simply aren't a high-paid position, even though I feel they are somewhat under-valued in this league. smith is not going to get that kind of jack.
I don't know, an elite OG is getting that now. I can see an elite RT getting that too now Sent from my HTC Vivid
lets pump the brakes on the word elite a little bit while the word still holds some value. hes a hell of a RT, really came into his own. He has a contract stipulation that if he goes over 350 pounds his pay gets cut in half. To keep it in perspective he was such a beast at bama, he'd go above warmack and fluker at either guard or tackle if he declared with them today. Too bad hes such a candidate to flop hard (and look floppy doing it) with a big paycheck
Yep. That's him. Couldn't heck a fat chick for a while after that one image. Never followed his career. Is he any good? Like 9 million good?
He'd worth 9 if his whole career had been like last year. As it is I would rather have Loadholt, even though Loadholt is nearly as good. Much safer buy. Loadholdt is still a peice to build a good OL with Sent from my HTC Vivid
