Four Teams Make Inquiries About Panthers CB Captain Munnerlyn

    Four NFL teams have contacted the agent for Carolina Panthers unretricted free agent cornerback Captain Munnerlyn.

    Munnerlyn, 24, is a former South Carolina standout who started every game for the Panthers last season.

    Munnerlyn had 61 tackles, nine pass deflections and two interceptions, returning both of them for touchdowns last season.

    In four NFL seasons, Munnerlyn has been durable and productive.

    He has 208 career tackles, 27 pass deflections and five interceptions with three returned for scores.
