Chiefs, QB Chase Daniels Agree To 3-Year Deal

The Chiefs have agreed to terms with quarterback Chase Daniel on a three-year deal, ESPN reports. Daniel backed up Drew Brees in New Orleans for the first four years of his career.

He was a solid backup in New Orleans. inb4 Alex Smith gets a concussion and Chase Daniels takes over for the season.

 

hate to see him go but he was not going to play in New Orleans.

 

what if he beats out Smith.

 

He was pretty good in our system. Hope he can do it in theirs. He is pretty accurate and he learned some stuff from Drew. As bad as people say Smith is I can actually see that happening. And why a 3 year deal?

 

quicker, more mobile version of brees....i predict smith will go back to being himself and chase will win the starting spot
