The Baltimore Ravens continue to lose key veteran players today. Reports have surfaced that the team has cut strong safety Bernard Pollard. This would be the sixth starter either left or expected to leave on the defensive side of the ball from last year's Super Bowl XLVII Champions. Source: SBNation
this one is a little peculiar. i think pollard was only due to make $2 mill next season. even if they replace him with a cheap, young guy, they're only going to save about $1 mill for a significant reduction in talent (possibly).
Pollard was trash anyways. If he wasn't hitting someone illegally than he wasn't contributing to the game.
