Bruce Arians has signed another friendly face, adding Drew Stanton with a three-year deal, Stanton's agent announced Wednesday. The quarterback worked with Arians last year in Indianapolis and figures to compete for the starting job with the Cards. Source: CBSSports
3 years? He's not competing for anything. He'll be the new starter regardless of how much Kolb restructures (or gets cut because he won't). All the respect for Kolb for getting up off the turf for as often as he had to, just don't think he's an NFL starter. Hopefully this will stop some of the nauseating rumors around town about Geno Smith being the Cards' first pick.
