The New Orleans Saints will bring in free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha for a visit on Sunday, according to a report by CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco. The three-time Pro Bowler played for new Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan with the Oakland Raiders from 2004-2008. Asomugha would be a blockbuster addition to the Saints' defense, even though his star has faded a bit over the past two years. He was released by the Philadelphia Eagles after failing to live up to the expectations of a five-year, $60 million contract. Before that, the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder had established himself as one of the NFL's elite cornerbacks during his first eight seasons in Oakland, with Pro Bowl trips from 2008-2010. He would be a great fit in New Orleans. The Saints have me worried this coming up year. Rob Ryan's defense is brutal when the opposing team is playing from behind. More times than not that is what happens when teams play that high powered offense.
