Saints Showing Interest In CB Tracy Porter, According To Report

    The New Orleans Saints reportedly are showing some interest in former Super Bowl XLIV hero Tracy Porter, Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

    ESPN.com is reporting that Porter, an unrestricted free agent who spent last season with the Denver Broncos after playing the first four years of his career with the Saints, is being courted by the Saints.

    According to the ESPN report, Porter could be a backup plan should Nnamdi Asomugha not sign with the Saints.

    As bad as our defense has been, he couldn't be too bad a pick up. My only concern is health issues. He's seemed to stay banged up quite a bit since the Super Bowl run.
