Colt McCoy's future with the Cleveland Browns has been in doubt since the team signed quarterback Jason Campbell.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Browns CEO Joe Banner told new flagship partner ESPNCleveland that McCoy won't be released as of now, but they're open to trading him.

I mean they're not in a rush to bounce him, but his cap number makes it extremely unlikely he's around for the season. They'll see if they can get someone to bite with a late pick and take their time doing it, but he's gone one way or the other.

I think they hang onto to him thru the draft and see if they get a late round pick for him, if not they'll drop him after the draft

there are probably enough teams desperate for a qb that they may give something to give mccoy a shot
