Miracle in the Meadowlands II is the greatest NFL play of all time, according to voters in an online poll conducted by NFL.com

It happened when Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver/punt returner DeSean Jackson returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown on the game's final play to cap a remarkable comeback and lift his team to a 38-31 victory over the Giants on December 19, 2010.

His play was voted the greatest in NFL history via the second annual NFL 'Bracketology.'

This year, 64 plays were bracketed just as an NCAA basketball tournament field and voted upon until a winner emerged.

Jackson's return defeated San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young's 1988 winding touchdown run vs. the Minnesota Vikings in the finals of NFL 'Bracketology' by receiving 57.8% of the votes in their matchup.

Not greatest of all time, but it was a great play. That punter was trying so hard to get away from Coughlin lol

All that disagree... What was the greatest play of all time?

I don't understand it. Even the run by Montana was better than that return. And the immaculate reception was even better. But come on, What were people thinking?

That was the greatest comeback of all time but if it wasent a game winner it would just be a regular punt return

Not the greatest comeback of all-time.

agreed with most of the sentiments here. i would think the greatest play would have higher stakes involved in order to catapult it to the 'greatest' ever.

With 7:40 left down 21 and not going into overtime name another time there was a 28 point swing in that amount of time left.

You picked all games that had postseason implications, which I get. Those would seem like they would be 'greater' because of the impact of the play.

But aside from maybe the Music City Miracle, those plays are fancy catches. I've made fancy catches in my backyard.

Think about how many things had to go right (or wrong for NYG) in order for this play to occur.

Your delusional if you think thats a better comeback yea it was nice but no one will ever touch scoring 28 points in 7:40 to win a game.

youre just all around delusional if you think thats the best play of all time...i think its in the top ten of the last decade, but damn...all time lol
