While there is no indication that the Patriots have dropped their interest in Steelers restricted free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, the team has not officially signed him to an offer sheet as of this time, Pittsburgh GM Kevin Colbert said on Sunday, via Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest. On Saturday morning, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported the team still was mulling a potential offer for Sanders, and it appears that that remains the case as of Sunday afternoon. Should the Patriots agree to an offer sheet with Sanders, the Steelers would be immediately informed of the agreement and would have five days to match the offer. If they declined to match it, the Patriots would send their 2013 third-round pick to the Steelers as compensation. Source: ESPN.com
