Lol...I'm delusional. Down 32 points and the Bills comeback to win without their top RB or QB. Okay...you win. 1992 game was far above this game. Far above.

A comeback that took alot longer then 7 minutes and 40 seconds i dont care who they had a RB or QB there still nfl players arent they.

DJ's return was a great play,but herm Edward's miracle at the meadowland's was a lot bigger play.also think the immaculate reception was a better play.i would have to say that the bills coming back from 32 points in a playoff game was the greatest performance 2nd half performance,and folks forget frank reich,also did the same thing in college!

There are a few that are toss ups, but this play was crazy. 3rd and 5 with 1 min left in the SB and have to score a TD to win. Eli avoiding the sacks. And how in the hell did Tyree hold onto to that ball with Harrison trying to rip his arm off

 

The Eagles website was urging people to vote on this play. I'm sure that's the main reason it won. Awesome play for Eagles fans, but no way the greatest in NFL history.

 

Djax's return was awesome especially considering that he muffed the catch, but I don't even think it's the best return of all time. Deion's first PR was waaay better with all the tackles he broke. Also I liked Devin Hester's field goal miss return better, because how often does that happen?

 

Westbrook's return in the Meadowlands was pretty good too and he didn't muff it, he just pretty much flat straight line beat them with speed...

What the hell does the Bills/Oilers game have to do with the greatest play? Believe me, nobody knows more about that game on here than me....and there is no coloration whatsoever.

Anyways, this voting is the culmination of the Facebook generation voting on this. Add to that the fact that plays like the immaculate reception happened before their parents were even born and there you go. They don't have the connection others do with those plays.

Ball was trying to justify this as the "greatest play" ever because it was the deciding factor in the "greatest comeback" ever.

 

No i actually said it was the greatest comeback ever not greatest play. I still have a very good argument for that i think.
