Faith Hill, "Sunday Night Football" Part Ways

Country star Faith Hill announced Monday morning on Twitter that she won’t be doing the “Sunday Night Football†theme song this year.

She’s been featured at the top of the broadcast for six years now.

Hill says in her tweet it’s been an honor to appear on the NBC show, but that it’s time to “let someone else rock the open. Difficult decision. Kinda emotional.â€

“Sunday Night Football†executive producer Fred Gaudelli tweeted “great love and appreciation†to Hill for her participation over the years. He made no mention of what the show plans to do with the opening.

I have no idea to be honest. But if he indeed did go country, then I think it's all but guaranteed being that he is an NFL fan.

 

Other than watching faith dance around,the whole intro pretty vanilla anyway! I just hope it ain't some r/b bullcrap!

He's a Steelers and NFL fan and I think he's been involved in some NFL events in the past...he's back on the radar doing some TV Shows and frankly has nothing else going on in his life that he could say no to the NFL. Totally a theory and a guess on my part...
