Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner has emerged as the No. 1 draft priority for the Browns, sources close to the situation told Draftinsider.net's Tony Pauline on Tuesday. If Milliner is off the board, LSU pass rusher Barkevious Mingo is the "contingency" plan.

The Browns might believe they can get Milliner a few spots later, as reportedly they are trying to trade down in the first round to pick up the second-round choice they lost in selecting Josh Gordon in last summer's supplemental draft.

While visiting the Browns last week, Milliner stumped for a chance to join Joe Haden as one of the NFL's premier cornerback tandems. "I definitely think we'd be a playoff contender," Milliner recently told The Plain Dealer.

He'd be nice, but a trade down makes more sense and I'm thinking they feel this way too. Even Rhodes and Haden would be an amazing tandem, he especially does well where Haden has weakness. They've gotta be targeting a starting CB in the draft because that's by far the biggest hole on the roster at this point.

i doubt milliner gets past the lions. Rhodes would be awesome for them, i actually have rhodes ranked a little higher than milliner

Like I said, Rhodes could be as good or even better of a tandem with Haden than Milliner
