Darrelle Revis is ready to make some noise as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But for one more day, he still was willing to criticize the organization that drafted him. "I feel like I haven't gotten the truth (from the Jets)," Revis told Newsday, the New York Daily News and the New York Post on Monday. "Anybody who tells you, 'You're going to be a Jet,' but what's the truth? ... Definitely I feel like I haven't gotten the truth." Revis said he spoke to general manager John Idzik last Wednesday. Idzik told him that he wanted Revis to remain a Jet. "I know it's a lie," Revis said, via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Revis insisted that he wanted to remain a Jet, but the team never approached him about a long-term contract. (The Jets tell a different story.) It's clear Revis has a bigger problem with Jets owner Woody Johnson and Idzik than with coach Rex Ryan "Woody don't want to talk to me. He stayed as far away as he could. ... As a friend, I feel for Rex. He played a big part in my career. I feel for him," Revis said. Source: NFL.com
he raised hell, threatening to hold out after signing a new contract and making the majority of the money. You know Brees will test him.
don't worry, he will. a lot. lol. this is going to come back and be one of those colossal failure trades.
I hope so. I'm a Revis fan but a Jets fan first. Since he's no longer on the team, he's the enemy n i hope he stinks up the place. He'll be facing a lot of top quality receivers this year (megatron, julio jones, etc..). It should be nice to watch how he performs after this injury. ...and i fade back to black.
