Is West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin worthy of top-10 draft pick consideration? "Path to the Draft" has a list of first-round talent who might be overvalued.

I'd go with Geno Smith as well. People want him to be RG3 but he wont be. Eventually the read option will go away and teams will be left with a QB that can be a prototypical pocket passer. I think guys like Barkley and even Landry Jones will end up being better

This by far. Sure he has the physical tools, but what else? The guy did nothing at BYU against lackluster competition and his stock (at least in media circles) seems to be based upon the successes of JPP of who he has some resemblance to but that is all. Shouldn't really be that much higher than Margus Hunt tbh.

Not to mention that Ansah isn't as athletic as JPP anyway.

Eh, not sure if I can agree with that. What I will say though, is that we have a player who is at least 24 years old (and there's a good chance that he's probably older, with dodgy African birth records and all) who has played the sport three years and not done much in those years.

Whereas JPP was barely 21 whilst playing five years of football and was a top JUCO player, as well as being All-Big East/All-American in the year he spent at South Florida. He went 15th and at the time was arguably a reach.

Just because JPP had one big season, he's an exeption, it shouldn't be a rule to draft raw athletes obscenely high. I don't think I see drafting Ezekiel Ansah to be a successful venture.

To avoid this being an Ansah only thread, I'll add a few more to my list: Dee Milliner (Don't buy him as a shutdown corner or being as much of an upgrade over other corners in the draft which his stock is dictating), Ryan Nassib (Iffy mechanics, poor accuracy, backup material and probably 3rd/4th round material in most drafts) and Barkevious Mingo (Way too small physically on the edge, reliant on athletism, big blockers will dominate him 1-on-1).
