With the 48th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Steelers select Michigan St. RB Le'Veon Bell. Bell definitely looks the part of an NFL back "on the hoof." Possessing excellent playing strength, good balance and agility, he is consistently able to run through arm/grab tackles to gain yards after contact. Despite running upright much of the time, Bell is consistently able to get shoulders down to make himself a smaller target and to deliver a blow to tackler. His strong and aggressive running style helps him to break tackles often. An instinctive runner, Bell is able to find open space/hole. When he stays focused on his blocking technique and gives a good effort, he has the strength to be a good pass blocker.

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

Hope we're wrong, but I agree. I would have taken 3 other backs over him, but I wish they would have went Arthur Brown.

You could tell in the press conference that Bell was pretty much all Todd Haley...he was gushing all over him...

I'd rather seen a WR or Brown there...I'm still sticking with my "sign Bradshaw, draft Lattimore" plan as the best plan there was.

i hate the bell pick, but ill soften my stance on him if he shows any promise. Unlike Hood and Worilds who i never thought had any promise or future with the team. Bell and Wheaton is much better than Worilds and Sanders as a 2-3 picks

Love Wheaton, just really thought they would try to get some size out there...but sooooo glad they didnt take patton
