Geno Smith will stay in New York City after all. One day after saying he would be heading home to West Virginia, Smith will instead stay in New York according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Smith's family's plans were to leave Friday after he was drafted so there was some uncertainty after the draft. The family had to change their flights and extend their hotels, which they did. Rapoport spoke to Smith's camp last night, who said he was "all good" and "understands this is all part of it." Smith fell out of the first round on Thursday night after being projected as an early pick. Source: NFL.com
Another epic failure in the NFL. I'm not impressed with his attitude, arm strength, awareness, or accuracy
I have problems with Smith as an NFl QB...especially recently. First of all he has a maturity issue... An NFL QB/Leader doesn't take to Twitter to call out analysts and people who criticize him. It just doesn't happen...an NFL QB can't react like that or let that get under their skin. Last night after he's not selected he's got a "Take my ball and go home attitude?" Come on...then he has to be convinced this morning to stay...to do the right thing? Lol...obviously the agent convinced him to stay and they concoct this silly "travel" story...another red flag. He'll wind up on the Jets...lol.
